Cloud Computing

Organizational focus on cost efficiencies is shifting toward enjoying the transformational benefits of new Cloud-based business models. After analyzing the needs of more than 60 ICT companies in selected regions of Lithuania and Belarus, Regional Innovation Management Center proposed the Cloud Computing Deployment Concept as a framework to spread, deploy, and promote migration to Cloud computing. We subsequently promoted the use of Cloud computing technology among ICT providers and users in both the private and public sectors.

The Cloud Computing Deployment Concept allows favorable conditions for creating effective cooperation networks (clusters) in the ICT sector to be developed in the selected areas. This is accomplished by raising the overall competence of ICT personnel, promoting new start ups, and facilitating more technological innovations, all while involving ICT users (private and public sector) in the R&D processes.
